Genuine Faith

These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me." Matt 15:8 There's an excellent illustration that demonstrates the difference between intellectual faith and genuine faith. In the late 1890's, a famous tightrope walker strung a wire across Niagara Falls. As thousands of people watched, he inched his way along the wire from one side of the falls to the other. When he got to the other side, the crowd cheered wildly. Finally, the tightrope walker was able to quiet the crowd and shouted to them, 'Do you believe in me?'. The crowd shouted back, 'We believe! We believe!'. Again he quieted the crowd and shouted to them, 'I'm going back across the falls on the tightrope. But this time I'm going to do it with a wheelbarrow, balancing the front wheel on the tightrope. Do you believe I can do it?'. The crowd yelled back, 'We believe! We believe!' There was a reporter there covering the story. He turned to him and asked the same question, "Do you believe in me? Do you believe I can do it?" The reporter responded, "Yes. I believe in you. I believe you can do it." The tightrope walker responded, "Great. Get in the wheelbarrow." Intellectual faith says, "I believe" Genuine faith will "get in the wheelbarrow".

so these many of Christian do believe God with our lips but when our hearts and mind are very far but why do we do this?

so let us revise our ways and get back to him

God bless you all

"A Father You Can Count On."

For one little girl, faith in her father helped her to survive one of the storms of the century. See, that's what you and I need, too, to make it through the storms that could sink us. We need a "daddy" who always does what he says. For someone listening today, the word "father" just carries... a lot of hurt and disappointment. And no earthly father, no matter how good he is, can always do what he says.
Every dad dies someday - except one. He's the God who made you; the God who has asked us to call Him our "Heavenly Father." He's not the father you had on earth; He's the Father we all wished we had and so much more. He's the Father your heart has been yearning for your whole life.
And here's what the Bible says about this God who wants to bring you into His family so He can be your Father. It's our word for today from the Word of God in Hebrews 6, beginning with verse 18. It says, "It is impossible for God to lie...We who have fled to take hold of the hope offered to us may be greatly encouraged. We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure." This anchor hope is actually a personal relationship with the God of the universe through what His Son did on the cross for us. Jesus poured out His life as your substitute, to pay your death penalty for every wrong thing you've ever done. So your sins could be forgiven and so you could belong to God forever.
And He's the Father who always does what He says. Here's what He promised to those who accept the gift His Son died to give us: "'I will be a Father to you, and you will be My sons and daughters,' says the Lord Almighty" (2 Corinthians 6:18) Look, you need Him. You were made for Him. And He wants you so much that He sacrificed His one and only Son to remove what stood between you and Him.
It's your move now, to reach out to God in faith and say, "God, I've been running my own life, and that's wrong. I'm ready to live Your way now, and I believe Jesus is my only hope of having my sins forgiven because He died for me. So, Lord, I'm Yours." See, that's how you begin your personal relationship with the Father that you were made by and made for.

God bless you

How Can Man Put Aside The Differances And Become One

Praise God,
Am Ev. Jesse Mbula i have got chances to ministers in churches in singing, worshiping and preaching but in most cases there is something that i see among 90% of the churches i minister in.
These days we as ministers and bellievers are failing to put aside the difference in order we become one in all condition on this planet. But why??

Dressing chord
Style in singing/ vocals
Working
Speaking
Tatoos
And many as possible

You find that when someone steps in a church and on his/her body is full of tatoos, that person is a sinner and it is not God judging but it is we humans by sending complains to God by prayers ''that why is such  person also coming to church infact making matters worse ministering you too'' but instead of sending complians to God, why dont we always put this brother or sister in to the hand of the lord to judge and even heal him totally becouse you never know that person could when he repented and he/she has been forgiven and now the devil is trying to lead you off just by indirectly using a littly think just as this tatoo on the sister/brother to win you soul and at the end you will be the sinner and this person will be forgiven.
So let us stop doing this and just become one by putting aside all the differences that we may be seeing and forcus on the God that we serve. and blessing shall flow like never before.

Infact if Jesus had not put aside the difference who could even  pray for some people or talk to them, but just becouse he was not looking at peoples sinfull sides but he was seeing them as they were just as we can see in John 4:6-15
In verse 13 Jesus did not mind what this lady is doing nor she had done in the past but he managed to talk to her and eventually he won her heart to a safe side so let us also be doing the same in order to win many hearts and let us not all difference to win us from God.
